PrepareQuestions to answer
ERP environmentWhich product, version, legal entities, plants and storage locations are in scope?
Material identityHow are material numbers, supplier references, units and locations mapped?
Inventory and demandWhich stock is usable? Is demand historical, forecast or dated? How are transfers represented?
Purchasing and receiptsAre PO lines, promised dates, actual receipts and supplier lead times available?
InterfacesWhich approved APIs, middleware or scheduled exports can we use? Is a test environment available?
Access and approvalsWho owns read access, document submission, spend approval and policy exceptions?
ValidationWhich totals and sample transactions prove that the data and writeback are correct?
OperationsWho monitors refresh failures, reconciles documents and owns support escalation?

Read access and write access are different milestones.

A useful inventory pilot can begin with approved structured exports. A direct data connection then needs authentication, mapping, refresh behavior and reconciliation. Writeback adds document validation, approval logic, duplicate prevention and recovery from failed or uncertain submissions.

Ask for the scope, test evidence and acceptance criteria at each stage. Confirm the exact ERP document types rather than assuming every transaction is available through the same interface.

This is a discovery checklist. Detailed endpoints and supported document types are confirmed against your ERP environment during implementation.

ANSWERS BEFORE YOU START

A few practical questions.

All frequently asked questions
How will you connect MudaGen to our system?

We first assess your ERP product and version, available interfaces and security requirements. A pilot can start with approved Excel or CSV exports. A connected deployment can use scheduled exchanges, approved APIs or your integration middleware. Mapping, refresh behavior, access, testing and writeback are agreed before production use.

Explore integration paths
Will the information update in real time?

The refresh schedule depends on the agreed source interface and business cadence. An export-based pilot is a snapshot. A direct or scheduled integration can refresh at the frequency supported and approved by your ERP team. We specify data freshness, failure alerts and reconciliation rather than calling every integration real time.

What happens if ERP submission fails or a result is uncertain?

Failure handling is part of integration design: validate before submission, avoid duplicate documents, capture references and reconcile the ERP result. An uncertain result should be checked before retrying. We test the agreed failure and escalation paths in a non-production environment before enabling execution.
