POLICY REVIEW

Revisit the planning lead time
and required stock protection.

Fictional example · Review variability and receipt history before changing policy.

A more useful supplier follow-up.

01

Expedite the right quantity

Distinguish the amount needed early from the full open-order quantity. Confirm whether a partial receipt can bridge the gap.

02

Challenge the timing assumption

Review the supplier’s delivered lead time and variability before relying on the standard lead time again.

03

Keep ownership clear

Assign follow-ups, set due dates and record acceptance or rejection reasons so the next person can see what happened.

Connect the decision to your purchasing controls.

Begin with recommendations and buyer-led follow-up. When your ERP connection and document rules are validated, enable order or requisition submission after the appropriate approval.

For routine actions, agree policy thresholds, eligible suppliers, quantities, spend limits and exceptions. Keep the ERP’s purchasing and release controls part of the workflow.

ANSWERS BEFORE YOU START

A few practical questions.

All frequently asked questions
Can AI place orders and initiate stock transfers?

Yes, in an ERP-connected deployment. Configure MudaGen to submit authorized orders, transfer documents or planning updates after the required approval, or within pre-approved company policies. Exact document support, permissions and exception handling are tested with your ERP team. The public demo simulates these transactions.

Compare automation modes
What if a supplier usually delivers earlier or later than its stated lead time?

Compare planned lead time with observed order-to-receipt history. Repeated delays may support more protection or a longer planning assumption; consistently earlier receipts may support a shorter one. Review the spread and quality of the history, not only the average. Supplier behavior informs a proposal rather than guaranteeing a future date.

What happens if ERP submission fails or a result is uncertain?

Failure handling is part of integration design: validate before submission, avoid duplicate documents, capture references and reconcile the ERP result. An uncertain result should be checked before retrying. We test the agreed failure and escalation paths in a non-production environment before enabling execution.
